Ashton Chapel

There are a fine series of paintings on the screens in the Lady Chapel. 8 panels are painted with half-length male figures in black and white on a red ground, 2 are painted with beautiful female renditions of motherhood.

These images are supposed to be portraits of the Chudleigh family, some of whom are buried in this chapel.
