Bradninch

The glory of this church are the two screens. The great screen is dated between 1450 to 1480 and it was painted in 1528. The base is divided into 52 panels and with varying artistic merit. The smaller screen now in St George's chapel is quite different in style to the great screen.

There are a wide variety of figures on the screen panels. In particular, there is a rare and complete depiction of the sibyls.
