The roodscreen is seen standing across nave and aisles,
and retains on the central and south sections a series of painted panels, representing apostles and prophets alternately. It is a fine example of a medieval carved oak screen dating back to the 15th century.
It was well restored by Herbert Reed in 1931 and most of the painted medieval panels are still in their original position. The panels depect new Testament saints and Old Testament prophets. The saints wear halos and the prophets wear caps.
